Plain language, no surprises. We built Nomatic Atlas because the rest of the internet treats you like inventory. We won't.

What we collect

Waitlist email and the beta-context details you give us (state, primary activities, optional notes). That's it for the landing page.

Inside the app: the account info you create (name, email), the content you post to your groups (text, photos, locations you choose to attach), and basic device/usage signals needed to keep the app running and secure.

We do not collect contacts, calendars, or background location. Location is requested only when a feature you tap needs it.

What stays on your phone

Trailhead — our on-device AI assistant — runs locally. Your prompts and the answers it generates are not sent to our servers and not used to train a model.

Drafts, route history, and content you download live on your device. You can clear them at any time from Settings.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

We do not run third-party ad networks or behavioral tracking SDKs.

We do not share your group posts or activities with anyone outside the groups you put them in.

Service providers

We use a small set of vendors to operate the service: hosting, transactional email for waitlist confirmations, error monitoring, and (eventually) Apple's TestFlight / App Store. Those vendors only see what they need to do their job and are bound by their own terms.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your waitlist entry or your account at any time by emailing hello@nomaticatlas.com. We aim to honor deletion requests within 30 days.

You can export your account data on request. Residents of California, Colorado, Utah, the EU, UK, and other regions with privacy laws have additional rights (access, correction, portability, opt-out of sale — though we don't sell). Email us and we'll honor them.

Children under 13 are not permitted to use Nomatic Atlas.

Security & retention

We keep waitlist data only for as long as the beta program runs. Account data is kept while your account is active and for a short window after deletion to handle backups and abuse prevention.

No system is perfectly secure, but we encrypt data in transit, restrict internal access, and review our practices regularly.

Changes & contact

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll post the new version here and, for account holders, notify you in-app or by email before it takes effect.
