TERMS.

These terms are an agreement between you and NomaticX, a Utah corporation ("Nomatic Atlas," "we," "us"). They cover this website, the waitlist, and the Nomatic Atlas iOS app once it's available to you.

By signing up for the waitlist, joining the beta, or using the app, you're agreeing to these terms.

Nomatic Atlas is in active development. The beta is provided as-is so we can learn together. Expect bugs, missing features, and changes between builds.

We may add, remove, or change features. We may pause or end the beta. If we do, we'll tell you and give you a way to export your data.

Don't share screenshots, builds, or invite codes publicly without asking — we're a small team and surprise launches are no fun.

You're responsible for what you post and for keeping your account secure. One person per account; don't impersonate someone else.

You keep ownership of the content you post (photos, posts, routes, comments). You give us a limited license to host, display, and route that content to the groups and people you share it with — that's how the service works.

We do not use your posts or photos to train AI models, and we do not sell them.

Don't use Nomatic Atlas to harass, threaten, dox, or harm other people.

Don't post content that's illegal, sexual content involving minors, hate speech, or content that infringes someone else's rights.

Don't try to break, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service. Don't use it to build a competing product.

We can remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules. Egregious violations get permanent bans.

The outdoors carries real risk. Trail conditions, weather, water levels, and wildlife change. Map data, AI suggestions, and group plans inside the app are starting points, not authoritative information.

You are responsible for your own decisions, your gear, your training, and the people you bring with you. Verify routes, check current conditions, and follow local regulations and land-access rules.

Nomatic Atlas is not a substitute for emergency services, a guide, or formal training.

The app links to or relies on third parties: Apple's App Store and TestFlight, mapping data providers, weather sources, and similar. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their parts of the experience. We don't control them.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, NomaticX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits. Where they don't, the limits apply to the maximum extent permitted.

We may update these terms as the product grows. If we make material changes, we'll post the new version here and, for account holders, notify you in-app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you and we consent to jurisdiction there.
